Conditions of the Competition (2010)

In any question concerning the rules of the competition or their translation, the German language text shall be considered authoritative.

The competition is open to young musicians/students of nationalities born after January 1st, 1975.
The competition will take place in three rounds.
The competition is open to the public audience.
The order in which participations play will be determinated by a lottery. This order remains in effect until the end of the competition.
All competitors must play from original published parts. The final round is to play by heart.
All participants are obliged to inform themselves about the time of their performance and to be present at the place of performance thirty minutes earlier.
The jury reserves the right to halt the performances at any time.
The decisions of the jury are final.
All competitors will receive a written confirmation of participation. Participants of the 2nd round will receive a certificate.
Piano accompanists will be provided. Contestants may bring their own accompanists at own expense. The name of the piano accompanist should be written in the registration form.
All participants are obliged to permit free audio and video recording of any stage of the competition.
The organizer assume no responsibility for instruments or personal belongings of competitors.
The number of participants is limited to 50, determinated by the order in which applications are received. Participants will receive a written “enrolement conformation”, after transfer application fee.
TThe application fee of 100 EUR has to be transfer „with no bank charges for the recipient”

Living and accommodation costs to be borne by the participants and accompanists themselves. There are privathouses and hotels in various categories.
The participants accept the conditions of the competition with the enrolment.
